  Updated DSP Module
Posted by: David Samborsky - 04-14-2018, 02:33 PM - Forum: The Ultimate Preamplifier Plus (UP+) - Replies (2)

Here is a sneak preview of our updated DSP module (Revision-C) used in the up coming Ultimate-Preamplifier Plus, which replaces the B2 revision board currently being shipped in the Ultimate-Preamplifer. Updates include the all new ES9038PRO Sabre DAC which replaces the existing ES9028PRO Sabre DAC along with a redesigned IV stage to handle the increased current requirements and new regulators to take advantage of the lower noise performance offered by this DAC.

  My 4 way Active
Posted by: MichaelH - 04-12-2018, 01:48 AM - Forum: Active Speaker Projects - No Replies

This is my own version of the Duntech Sovereign. Doesn't look anything like the Sovereign but based on on Dunlavy's Vertical Symmetrical Array with identical driver spacing to the Sovereign.

Using the Ultimate Preamp in a 6db crossover.

They sound SOOOO SWEET.

Thanks for a superb product Dave. My project wouldn't have been possible without the preamp.

  8-Channel Stereo Pass through
Posted by: David Samborsky - 04-07-2018, 03:09 PM - Forum: Post your Audioweaver Designs here - No Replies

This script is used for testing the DAC's and directly passes audio data from the left channel to the all of the odd channels (Ch 1,3,5,7) and from the right channel to the all of the even channels (Ch 2,4,6,8).

WARNING ! It is recommended not to have speakers connected when using this mode otherwise it may cause damage to the upper range drivers if they are driven with wide band or low frequency content.

8-Channel Stereo Pass through

Code:
Channel    Assignment
Ch-1    All-Pass (Left)
Ch-2    All-Pass (Right)
Ch-3    All-Pass (Left)
Ch-4    All-Pass (Right)
Ch-5    All-Pass (Left)
Ch-6    All-Pass (Right)
Ch-7    All-Pass (Left)
Ch-8    All-Pass (Right)
